Our stem-cell collection process minimizes the risk of contamination from collection all the way through storage of your cord tissue and cord blood.

When you store with EUCYT you can choose to store the tissue as is or create any number of useful products such as Wharton’s Jelly products, stem-cell patches, umbilical-cord blood, exosomes, platelets plasma, and more. Our process provides the opportunity to use the banked PDTF’s up to 10 times!

The process of collecting cord blood is painless and safe for both the mother and baby. It requires three-to-five minutes to collect and does not interfere with bonding time between the mother and baby. Once the cord blood is collected, it is tested in our laboratory to ensure all quality standards are met. We then assess the total volume collected and the concentration of stem cells and provide you with a Certificate of Analysis. The PDTF’s are then cryofrozen until they are needed.

Adult Stem Cell Banking

As the body ages, the viability of your stem cells decrease year-on-year. Our adult banking program using our PleXOcyt autologous stem-cell aspiration systems takes 15 minutes. Your blood can be processed into any of our liquid products and cryofrozen for future use.

Donation Method

Once your baby is delivered, the umbilical cord is clamped and cut. A needle is then inserted into the umbilical cord by the physician and cord blood is collected.

Your private donation is tested in our EUCYT laboratory and it is processed according to FDA, American Association of Blood Banks, American Association of Tissue Banks, and Certified Laboratory Improvement standards.
